Chiquito is a chain of inexpensive Tex Mex restaurants predominantly aimed at tourists. Mexican food with a lively atmosphere, very popular faijitas, chicken wraps and the nachos are recommended. The music is quite loud and it can feel a little crowded at busy times. Tried and tested for groups of around 20 with good reports, is considered by some a bit of a tourist trap however.
Situated yards away from Warner Cinema and MegaBowl this could be a useful venue for your hen night meal. Chinese, buffet, all-you-can-eat style. Used to large groups and parties and comes with karaoke facilities... For just under a tenner a head for all you can eat, Dragon King offers convenience, good value and a nice atmosphere. |

Movie decor, great burgers and outrageous deserts abound. Not cheap but great fun, the staff dress up and apply layers of body paint, with plenty of opportunity to get decorated yourself if you want to. The food is average (A burger is a burger after all!) but very big portions, nachos, chips, etc. You could also try the Hard Rock Cafe if you are looking for the American experience. No booking ahead on Saturdays.
Nikita’s is opulent, over the top and utterly charming with a deep red and gold colour scheme. A russian themed restaurant, zillions of different flavoured vodka, best fillet steaks in London, good for parties, although it is on the intimate side, they can seat a party of 45. Very atmospheric and the beluga cavier is a must-try, if you can afford it to enjoy with the gipsy music. |

![]() Maggie Jones's Restaurant 6 Old Court Place, Kensington Church Street, W8 4PL 020 7937 6462 Food: Traditional British Lots of British favourites such as Lamb Shank, Steaks and Game dishes. House wine is served by the 1.5 litre bottle and you only pay for what you drink. The saddle of lamb is divine and the house red is dangerously drinkable, whilst the bread is farmhouse and the pies traditional. OK for a group of about 12. Dark and intimate over 3 floors. We only hear good things about Maggie Jones.
This pizza parlour has a loud party atmosphere most of the time and is very busy even though it has some pavement tables as well. Expect to pay around £5 for a pizza and £8 for a bottle of house wine. Excellent Italian food, The food is scrumptious, the service friendly and fast, the atmosphere is loud and interesting and the wine very drinkable! Groups of 15 or so are catered for, although it's not huge. Authentically Italian, from pizza to full meals, a good small party restaurant. | ![]() |
